Embroiderers' Guild meeting

I was really pleased to make it along to the meeting of the Colne & Colchester Embroiderers' Guild meeting today.


I was warmly welcomed and met very friendly and inspiring people.  I look forward to the next time I can make it along......


In between chatting about ideas and techniques and drinking coffee, i did manage to get a few stiches done!  


I'm working on small pieces using the fabrics that i LOVE and adding hand embroidered text of words inspired by the fabric.  Language, stitch and design - three great loves of mine :-)


I met Michele and I'm pleased to be a new follower of her creative blog Michele English.
